Venere black rice salad is a variant of the traditional rice salad, much more tasty and with a more intense flavor. Venere black rice contains: selenium, calcium, zinc, magnesium and a quantity of iron four times higher than white rice and is poor in sugars.
It is a food well tolerated by adults and children,it is recommended to those who suffer from diabetes, hypertension and is also suitable for celiac disease.
One of its peculiarities is to prevent the onset of certain cancers, thanks to the action of antioxidants.

Rice Venus Grandmother Isabella: 280g
Cherry tomatoes: 200g
Peas: 150g
Peppers: 300g
Carrots: 200g
Maize: 300g
Beans: 50g (optional)
EVO oil: to taste
Salt: to taste

Let's start with the pot, take one big enough to cook 280 grams of rice Venus, remember that rice increases its volume, so choose it carefully. Fill it with water and put it on the fire, bring the water to boil and salad, pour the rice and cook for 15 minutes. In the meantime, take a small pot that will serve to bake the peas. Same procedure of rice: bring the water to the boil, pour the peas, cook for 5 minutes, chop them and keep them aside. While the rice is cooked, check and peeled carrots, grate them with a grater with large holes.
Take the peppers, wash them, remove the petiole, cut the shell to which the petiole is attached, then remove the central part with the seeds and most of the white ribs with a rotating movement.
Remove the last white ribs with the knife and cut the small cubes into small cubes.
Take the cherry tomatoes, wash basins and cubes.
Finally, take the corn, rinse it, pour it and put it in a cup. Add cherry tomatoes, peppers, carrots and peas, add oil, salt and basil.
Drain the rice, rinse it with cold water to stop the cooking, add it to the vegetable salad, mix it all with a spoon and the Nonna Isabella's Venere black rice salad is ready!

If you want to prepare it on a Saturday to bring it on Sunday to the sea, you can do it without fear.
Refresh it in a refrigerator, in a hermetically sealed container and will be better than the day before.
